What dates are wedding guests expected to arrive?
Guests can arrive at any time throughout the week! We are planning a (completely optional) group kayaking trip on Wednesday May 19th so if you don't want to miss this we recommend arriving on Tuesday. The wedding ceremony and reception dinner will take place on Friday, May 21st.
When are the bride and groom arriving on the island?
Ian and Emily will arrive on Monday, May 17th and will be staying until Monday May 24th.
Where should I stay?
The bride and groom will be staying at The Royal Sonesta in Lihue. This property can also be booked as the Marriott Kauai Beach Club. That being said, there are many amazing places to stay in Kauai and nobody is required to stay at this property. See our travel section of this website for travel suggestions and hotel options!
Why aren't there any specific gift items on the registry?
We want to emphasize that your presence at our wedding is the best gift you could give us. We know this destination is a big commitment for everyone involved. That being said, we have provided a cash fund in case you want to contribute. If you are interested in giving us a physical gift, we would love anything sentimental that we can keep in our home to remind us of you (photos, Christmas ornaments, etc.).
Is there an itinerary for the week's festivities?
Yes! We will be sending out an itinerary via text and email highlighting activities and timelines for all guests.
What is the wedding attire?
We request that you dress in semi-formal attire for the wedding ceremony and reception.
What if I have more questions?
Feel free to reach out to us if you have any other questions or concerns about the wedding, wedding events, or travel. Ian's cell is 916-712-9919. We are happy to help in any way we can!
