Emily and Ian technically met years before they started dating when Emily's best friend, Elizabeth, started working with Ian. At the time, they were just familiar faces and never got to know each other very well.

Fast forward to 2021, when Emily specifically requested Ian's presence at Elizabeth and Braden's annual Halloween party. The two spent the entire night talking, and Ian even walked Emily home—a casual two-mile stroll.

A few months later, Emily flew to Montana to meet Ian's family, and on New Year's Day 2022, Ian asked her to be his girlfriend. By March, he had moved back to Chico to start a life with Emily.

Since then, they've bought their first home together, traveled to Iceland, and adopted their kitten, Jo. They're excited to continue their adventures together and can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
